Johns Hopkins In Action

Johns Hopkins in Action is a community service program designed to engage alumni, parents, and friends of Johns Hopkins in projects that make an immediate impact on the communities in which we live. We partner with local organizations to provide service opportunities in the areas of urban revitalization, school reform, and much more. We hold an annual day of service each May for the Baltimore/Washington area and several events throughout the year hosted by regional communities of alumni, parents, and friends.

Previous Johns Hopkins in Action events around the United States have included service at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Philadelphia, the Houston Food Bank, Heartland Health Outreach in Chicago, and Heal the Bay of Greater Los Angeles.
