Charitable Gift Annuity – Guaranteed Income

charitable gift annuity provides guaranteed income to you or a loved one that is partially tax-free, and favorable treatment of capital gains when you donate appreciated securities. You are also eligible for a charitable income tax deduction. Receive similar advantages with a charitable remainder unitrust.

How to make your gift To establish a Johns Hopkins charitable gift annuity* or other life income gift, call the Office of Gift Planning at 410-516-7954 or 800-548-1268 or email giftplanning@jhu.edu.

A Gift from your IRA – Easy and Efficient

Individuals who are 70 ½ or older may transfer up to $100,000 a year directly from their traditional IRA to Johns Hopkins. The amount of the transfer will not be included in your taxable income, and the transferred amount can count toward your required minimum distribution.

How to make your gift Contact your IRA custodian and request that a distribution be made directly to Johns Hopkins. Provide your IRA custodian with our tax ID number, 52-0595110, and contact information:
